INMA: “Les famílies amb un nivell socioeconòmic més alt tenen més risc d’estar exposades a contaminants químics”

Una posició socioeconòmica més alta s’associa amb una major exposició a diversos contaminants químics –com diverses substàncies perfluoroalquilades (PFAS), mercuri i arsènic– durant l’embaràs i la infància. Així ho conclou un nou estudi europeu en el que ha participat el Projecte INMA que ha descrit la relació entre la posició socioeconòmica de 1.300 dones embarassades i els seus fills i filles de 6 a 12 anys i l’exposició a 41 contaminants químics ambientals.
