INMA: “A los 4 años de nacer, los contaminantes inhalados en el embarazo afectan solo a los niños”
Una investigadora del Departamento de Medicina Preventiva y Salud Pública de la UPV/EHU ha publicado recientemente una investigación dentro del Proyecto INMA, en el que han medido cómo afecta la exposición de mujeres embarazadas a los contaminantes ambientales PM2.5 y NO2 a sus descendientes, a los 4 años del nacimiento. Se perjudican principalmente la memoria, el habla y la cognición general, y es a los niños a quien afectan mayormente, aunque es una afección pequeña.
