19/07/2019

A researcher from the Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health of the UPV/EHU has recently published an investigation within the INMA Project, in which they have measured how exposure of pregnant women to environmental pollutants PM2.5 and NO2 affects their descendants, at 4 years of birth. Mainly memory, speech, and general cognition are impaired, and it is the boys who are most affected, although it is a small condition.
