CREAL has celebrated the INMA Sabadell Families Day

On April 24th 2016 the INMA Sabadell children have celebrated the INMA Project Day with the families. This event was organized by researchers of INMA(Childhood and Environment) Project, in co-operation with the Council of Sabadell and Airpharm.

The day began with welcoming remarks for girls and boys by Dr. Jordi Sunyer, director of the INMA and codirector of CREAL, an ISGlobal alied center, about the importance of their participation in our research and the potential impact on future research results, followed by the opportunity that the INMA children have to ask questions and share their concerns with all attendees. Joan Berlanga, Councillor for Education and Sustainability at the Council of Sabadell and Ramon Vidal, Health Councillor at the Council of Sabadell, jointed us in the event.

Later, the children enjoyed various recreational workshops where they have created custom t-shirts and mugs and where they have played with fruit and painting. Meanwhile the mothers and fathers could talk with project researchers on subjects of current interest such as neurodevelopment of children and the effects of pollution and radiation on health. The day ending with a snack for everyone, young and old, a draw for tickets to Port Aventura and a group picture.
