New INMA publication."Children's health and urban air pollution" (INSPIRA)

Today, there is no doubt that air contamination plays a role in provoking and worsening of asthma attacks in children suffering from this malady. Besides, Children who live in communities with higher air contamination indexes have less growth in the pulmonary volumes they are capable of breathing. However, there are very few studies available that have measured the effect of contamination in stages prior to school life, the most vulnerable stage when the organs are being formed.
